Apple Mouth 3 Ring Dutch Gag.
 
This Dutch Gag is also known as a Continental or three ring gag. This bit can be used with one or two sets of reins, or Pelham Roundings, with the bridle cheek pieces attached to the top rings. This produces poll pressure. The reins can be fitted to either of the lower rings; the lower the reins are fitted the stronger the leverage. The Apple Mouth gives a softer feel in the mouth.
