This Dutch Gag is also known as the Continental or three ring gag and has Stainless Steel rings and a jointed Sweet Iron mouthpiece.
 
The cheeks on this Dutch Gag consist of 3 stacked rings.This bit can be used with one or two sets of reins, with the bridle cheek pieces attached to the top rings to produce mild poll pressure. The reins can be fitted to either of the lower rings: The lower the reins are fitted the stronger the leverage.
The natural corrosion of the Sweet Iron encourages acceptence of the bit and salivation.
